Clubmark

Clubmark is a club accreditation scheme that helps clubs to develop and be the best they can. Clubmark is essentially a kite mark for clubs, giving parents the knowledge and confidence that their children are attending a safe, quality club and ensuring that young people reach their full potential.
The Clubmark scheme provides a set of standard criteria against which clubs can measure progress, thereby helping the club develop its infrastructure and other areas such as volunteering, membership and recruitment.
As a single, national standard, Clubmark gives sports clubs structure and direction. Clubs awarded Clubmark have seen many tangible benefits.
How can I become a Clubmark Club?
Clubs need to contact their National Governing Body as each sport uses different methods to measure whether their clubs have reached the agreed standards. Upon reaching these standards, clubs will be awarded their National Governing Body club accreditation. Click on the link below to be directed to your NGB clubmark page.

If your NGB is not licensed to deliver the Clubmark accreditation scheme, you will soon be able to gain accreditation through Active Sussex. Active Sussex is currently working towards its generic Clubmark licence. For more information on how you can get involved, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
