David Hubbard has taken one step closer to regaining his national indoor bowls singles title.
In the area final at Adur Indoor Bowling Club in Southwick on 10 February, the 26 year-old from Lancing beat fellow Adur Club player Scott Edwards 21-13 to secure his place in the national finals.
Hubbard can now look forward to competing in the men's singles event in Nottingham later this month, where he hopes to reclaim his crown. In 2009 Hubbard became the youngest player ever to win the national title at the age of 22.
