Missing the Olympics already? Why not become a Sport Maker? Join this national version of the Games Maker programme at two free workshops coming soon to Brighton and Chichester.
Sport Maker volunteers are the national equivalent of Games Makers – volunteers who help get more people involved in sport across the country. Daniel Caines, former 400m indoor world champion and a Sport Makers ambassador said: "Sport Makers gives people the chance to do something special, to have new experiences and make new friends."
This initiative is part of the Sussex Legacy programme, supported by Freedom Leisure, University of Chichester and Rix & Kay Solicitors. The next two free workshops take place at Withdean Stadium, Brighton (16 Oct, 6:30pm) and Six Villages Sports Centre, Chichester (17 Oct, 7:30pm). For more details visit www.sportmakers.co.uk
